Welcome to my school counseling website!
I am a professional school counselor, having graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2012. There, I earned my Masters of Education (M.Ed) in school counseling. My training enables me to work with students of all ages, from grades K-12. I am passionate about working with youth and it is my privilege to serve your student! On my website you will find lots of helpful information about my philosophy of school counseling and about the programs available to your student. Prior to graduate school, I attended Virginia Tech, where I majored in Finance and minored in French. All of my experiences enhance my ability to work with your student!
It is my opinion that every student deserves an opportunity to succeed not only academically, but also within their personal and social realms. Students spend a great deal of time at school, where they deal with many day-to-day challenges. Therefore it is important that access to counseling services is readily available so students develop the skills necessary to successfully navigate these challenges.
